The Annual Badger State Showdown

 The annual Badger State Showdown was held on Thursday July 3rd & Friday July 4th (reschedule from the rain out in June).

Thursday July 3rd: Adam won his heat race on Thursday only to be disqualified because the RPM chip in his Ignition back wasn't wired tight and caused the RPM's to exceed 200. He was able to get another chip and had to run the 'gong' show (semi feature) in order to requalify for the feature. In the 'gong' show, he finished 1st only to have it taken away because of a caution on the final lap. The win went to the guy whom he had passed.

Then came the feature... Adam found himself starting 19th in the feature. He passed cars and fought his way up to a 4th place finish - in only 14 laps!

Friday – July 4th: 2nd night of the Badger State Showdown and the big payout. Adam was in the 1st heat and started 5th. He fought his way up to the front to take 1st in his heat! "The track was the way I liked it - not too soupy/sloppy and not too dry..." He said afterwards his car had great grip.

The feature came and Adam started 12th with the points leader in the front row. Adam, again, worked hard all the way up to the top 5 when a caution flew. That tightened up the field. With 6 laps left, Adam stuck to the inside groove and passed everyone to give the leader - Travis Cain - a run for his money. The white flag flew and Adam hung in low and snuck to the inside of Travis in turn one and held his ground. Cain was trying to push him into the big tires, but Adam wouldn't budge. Coming out of turn 2, Adam had passed Cain and took the Checkered flag! His 1st feature win!

Sunday July 6th: Adam raced at the Seymour Race Track. He started 5th in his heat and won it. Then in the feature, he started 9th and ran all the way up to 3rd. He moved up from 5th place in points there to a tie for 2nd at Seymore.
